THE CONNIE SHOP
Welcome to The Connie Shop! This beautiful shop is named in memory of Connie Pilkington. Pictured is her daughter Vanessa Batts, also the Board President of Her Haven of Light. Vanessa brings so much to Her Haven of Light and in her grief, had family and friends donate to Her Haven instead of sending flowers for her mom’s funeral. We are so grateful that Connie believed in the vision and mission of Her Haven and we wanted to be able to honor her forever.
The Connie Shop is in our office and gives women an opportunity to shop for their basic immediate needs at no cost to them. It ranges from newborn items all the way up to clothing, accessories and toiletries for women. If we don’t have something a client is in need of, we will go pick it up for them.
It gives our client’s the opportunity to feel like they’re shopping and picking out items they want without the stress of not being able to afford it.
