We are so thankful for the overwhelming number of calls we’ve received from clients and volunteers!  January was an amazing month and great start to the new year.  We have been able to pay for counseling sessions, work with local Doctors to provide care and diabetes treatments at no cost to the client, clothe and supply women with immediate neds and help with resources for some of our client’s children.  It has been a true blessing to extend our hands in love and meet these clients where they are. We started our first Trauma Support Group on January 18th. It has been such a blessing to be a part of.  We wrote out our curriculum and have enjoyed ending the group in open discussion.  At this time, the group is closed but keep an eye out for future groups.  It is open to our clients and volunteers.  If you know of someone who is in need of a support group, please have them fill out the intake forms located on our website, and we will give them a call.     It’s time for our quarterly outreach!  On February 14th we will be passing out blessing bags to the homeless in the community.  Shine Church of Clayton was generous and supplied the blessing bags for us to give away.  We can’t wait to get out in the community and be the hands and feet of Jesus. https://www.myegiving.com/App/Form/9cea1dbc-3b20-4fdb-b4fe-8dc8fce9143f   We are always in need of volunteers as we host many events and need help in and outside of office.  If you’re interested in becoming a volunteer, please reach out to us for a volunteer application and we will email that over.  Or you can visit our website and fill it out there.
